Wine-of-the-Month Club, established in 1986, is one of the biggest South African wine retailers. Whilst our client is very successful through B2B partnerships and telemarketing, our client decided it's time to venture into the e-commerce space.
Wine of the Month hired M4C for the design of its brand new e-commerce site as well as subsequently the strategy and execution of all digital marketing. In the website design process we also developed a new design and content styleguide and developed a refreshed brand identity focussing on the Wine-of-the-Month Club unique concept being "Fun and delightful discovery of the best selection of wines - curated by an independent expert panel - at the best prices".

Here some inspiration on what we came up with for the refreshed brand.
After understanding our client's brand essence and USPs we developed a script and STB (storyboard) to introduce the Wine-of-the-Month Club brand to a yet untapped market - an online shopping audience.
We developed a strong strategy of highlighting the panelists and approach in all we do. The panel is brought in on category, product level giving its stamp of approval to the selection on offer on wineofthemonth.co.za - as well as in the Blog for additional Content and highlights in all digital channels.
We developed "Poppy and Block" as the informed Wine of the Month team representatives to bring our consumers the panel's best new finds and selections. Poppy & Block's purpose is to guide consumers through their discovery journey and establish Wine of the Month as a fun and quirky brand for the delightful discovery of wines.
